Judging by insider information, Vision Pro mixed reality headsets are being prepared for a February launch. Production has been running at full capacity at factories in China for several weeks.
During 2024, approximately 200 thousand units of Vision Pro will be shipped. It is added that Apple's headset is the company's most important product for 2024.
In an email from Apple, software developers were asked to “prepare” for the release of Vision Pro, including testing their applications using the latest tools and forward them to the company for comments.
The company must convince customers to embrace mixed reality, a concept that combines virtual and augmented reality. The cost will be $3,499 per unit. Apple Vision Pro will be available by appointment only and will not be widely sold in the US only.
