Very unusual for Intel, Lunar Lake processors with only four large cores will be released in very limited volumes at the end of this year

The launch will be similar to the launch of sales of Meteor Lake

It seems that Intel Lunar Lake processors will meet the fate of the currently relevant Meteor Lake. In the sense that the first ones will also be released at the very end of the year.

According to insider Golden Pig Upgrade, Intel will adhere to the same EEP (Early Enablement Program) in the case of Lunar Lake as when launching Mateor Lake. This means that some manufacturers in some markets will have access to new CPUs significantly earlier than others. This will lead to the fact that at the first stage Lunar Lake will not be available everywhere and in a limited range of laptops. But at the beginning of 2025 we will see a wider distribution of new CPUs.

C Let us remind you that Lunar Lake will be quite unusual processors. They are initially designed with the utmost emphasis on power efficiency, they will have a maximum of eight cores (four large and four small), and large cores may not even receive Hyper-Threading support, although there is no official data on this yet.

The Golden Pig Upgrade Pack insider once shared performance leaks of Intel CPUs of different generations and published Intel slides describing the Meteor Lake CPU.
