The modified front axle features additional gear housing seals and upgraded drives. UAZ changed the casting equipment of the bridge, and moved the safety valve from the axle shaft casing to the crankcase casting, which made it possible to reduce excess pressure. This entire set of measures should increase the reliability and durability of the bridge.
