Triumph for Persona developers. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance receives high ratings from publications

It looks like Atlus has done a great job of improving and refining the RPG Shin Megami Tensei V. The remastered version, subtitled Vengeance, has received a lot of positive reviews.

Many publications give “tens” and “nines”. Siliconera editors gave it a full score, praising Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance for its strong new storyline. VG247's editors also gave the game a 10/10, citing the excellent turn-based combat system and improved graphics compared to the original Switch release.

On the Nintendo console side, Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance is still available for purchase here, but don't expect much improvement in performance or graphics quality over the old version. Unfortunately, the object pop-in is still too noticeable on Switch, and the frame rate doesn't always stay at 30fps.

Average score for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance on Metacritic is 87% for the PS5 version after 26 reviews and 91% for the PC version after 17 reviews.
