For Euro Truck Simulator 2 they not only release content with new locations, but also do not forget about updating existing ones
Work on updating content in Euro Truck Simulator 2 continues. The SCS Software team has prepared a new selection of screenshots, this time focusing on a city in the Rhine-Ruhr region (Germany).
We're not just talking about a cosmetic update here, authors Euro Truck Simulator 2 redesigned cities from the ground up. The previous version of the map did not represent the region very well; they decided to create a new urban structure that would reflect more of the region's territories, selecting it as realistically as possible.
This can be immediately noticed by how the density of the road network has changed. The developer said it would be possible to “look into the heart of some cities and discover the contrast between the industrial zone and the center itself. Dare I say, we captured the best in every city!”
The authors of Euro Truck Simulator 2 still do not say when they will release the updated Germany. As before, such updates are distributed free of charge.
As always, these are “Work in progress” frames, i.e. do not reflect the final quality of the work done.
