It will accelerate to 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds
In 2024, Jeep will have a big new thing, literally and figuratively, with the release of an all-electric version of the large Wagoneer SUV. The new model will be called the Wagoneer S, and the first image of the production model has now been shown.
Judging by this image, the Wagoneer S will not be much different from the prototype shown in 2022. You can distinguish the car from a regular petrol Wagoneer WS by the illumination of an imitation radiator grille with seven characteristic lights, as well as an LED strip stretching along the hood and connecting the headlights.
Jeep reported the power of the power plant – it will be 600 hp, and from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) the car will accelerate in about 3.5 seconds. That is, the Jeep Wagoneer S will compete with the BMW iX M60 electric crossover: its power – 619 hp, and it accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.8 s.
The power reserve of the Jeep Wagoneer S will be 640 km, the official premiere will take place in the fall of this year. Along with the full-size Wagoneer S, a more compact electric crossover Jeep Recon should be released this year.
