Porsche is preparing to unveil its electric version of the Macan today, January 25, but images of the Macan EV in standard and Turbo versions were published on the Porsche EV Forum portal ahead of the announcement.
The new model is distinguished by smooth body contours, a slightly more horizontal roof line and branded optics. The front of the car has a two-tier design, with the main units integrated into the bumper and the front running lights adorned with four horizontal stripes between the bumper and the hood. The taillights are designed as a common light block.
Some nuances in the finishing of the bumpers distinguish the design of different modifications of the Macan EV. For example, the Turbo version stands out with a clearly defined air intake in the front bumper and slots on the sides of the rear. It is assumed that the low ground clearance of the SUV can be adjusted using pneumatic elements in the suspension.
According to official information, all versions of the Porsche Macan EV will be equipped with a 100-kilowatt battery and two electric motors, the total power of which in top trim levels will exceed 600 hp. The range is expected to be at least 500 km.
