Today in Russia the official premiere of the BAIC X75 crossover — future flagship of the brand. Now live photos from the premiere and additional details have appeared on the Internet. For example, it is reported that the ambassador of the model (not the entire brand, but the model) was Vyacheslav Butusov.
The crossover has a spacious interior. The front passenger has an ottoman, and the lower touch screen for controlling the climate system is reminiscent of the same display on the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro. And it is this Chery crossover that is considered as one of the main competitors of the new BAIC X75.
It’s interesting that despite the presence of a separate screen for controlling the climate system, control of heating, ventilation and massage of all seats is displayed on regular keys.
The slide below shows aspects of adapting the BAIC X75 for Russia: not only the washer nozzles are heated, but also the entire windshield. They also enlarged the reservoir for windshield washer fluid.
The BAIC X75 will go on sale on March 25, the cost of the basic version will be approximately 3 million, but there are four trim levels (Comfort, Luxury, Luxury Pro, Exlusive), so the maximum price will be closer to 4 million rubles. Moreover, the car is exclusively front-wheel drive.
The dimensions of the car are 4745 x 1892 x 1715 mm, wheelbase — 2800 mm, ground clearance — 200 mm. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 177 hp. and a torque of 300 Nm (turbine — with variable geometry), it is combined with a 7-speed «robot». The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds, average gasoline consumption — 8.2 l/100 km.
