Among 12 models there is only one Toyota
The HotCars resource conducted an analysis and compiled the top 12 models capable of covering a mileage of 500 thousand miles (805 thousand km).
It’s interesting that in first place is not just any Toyota Prius, but a Hyundai — Hyundai Elantra 2010—2015 with a 1.6-liter 132-horsepower engine and a reliability rating of 9.5 out of 10 points. In the United States, several Hyundai Elantra units have already surpassed the 1 million mile (1.6 million km) mark, and one woman working in delivery «has dashed» 1.6 million km in just 5 years! The local Hyundai branch appreciated the achievement and gave the American a new Elantra.
The Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, produced from 1988 to 2002, took second place in the rating. The reliability of the car, equipped with a 4.3-liter 160-horsepower engine, was rated 9 points out of 10. In third place is the Ford Super Duty pickup truck, which was produced from 2011 to 2016. This is one of the few cars in the rating with a diesel engine — 6.7-liter V8 with 400 hp
