Belonging to the Dungeons and Dragons universe, Baldur's Gate 3 received such success that it will contribute to the emergence of new games in the worlds of the setting.

Until recently, Baldur's Gate 3 was considered an anomaly in the gaming industry that gamers should not take for granted.

Baldur's Gate 3 is part of the Dungeons and Dragons. Larian Studios' latest effort has been so successful that DnD brand rights holder Hasbro has announced that it intends to release more games related to the legendary brand, which turns 50 this year, in the near future.

Here's what CEO Chris Cox said during a conference call with investors:

“Video games are definitely going to be a huge boost to the DnD industry… Starting in 2026, we'll probably have one big new game that we'll publish digitally distribution. And from 2027 to 2030 – from one to two, depending on how the schedules work out.”
