Apparently, the situation with components at AvtoVAZ remains tense, and the warehouses of spare parts from which the cars are assembled are either absent or in small quantities.
Yesterday, due to bad weather, trucks with components were unable to reach AvtoVAZ, as reported by the insider public Avtograd News on the VKontakte social network.
Bad weather affected the work of AvtoVAZ on November 22. Due to a snowstorm, the M-5 highway is blocked, trucks with components from Balakovo are stuck somewhere in traffic jams, the second shift of Granta production is not working, the staff will be paid for this [downtime] in the amount of 2/3 of the salary.
A couple of hours ago it became known that the trucks eventually “broke through the snow captivity and delivered components from Balakovo to AvtoVAZ. After yesterday’s downtime during the evening shift, today the Granta conveyor resumed production of commercial products during the day shift.”
The administrator of the Avtograd News public lives in Tolyatti and works at AvtoVAZ. He leaked a lot of accurate information, including photos of the new Lada Vesta NG and information about the incomplete Lada Granta.
