It will feature support for neural networks and “gamification for authors”
Director of Development of Internet Encyclopedia «Ruviki» Vyacheslav Umanovsky, during the XIV Ural Media Forum in Yekaterinburg, said that the updated version of the Russian encyclopedia is planned to be launched in September of this year. According to him, in about six months, Ruviki 3.0 should be operational, with an updated interface and the author’s personal account, as well as a personalization system using neural networks. Umanovsky added that there may also be a feature such as gamification for authors.
Russian portal «Ruviki» was created as an analogue of the Russian-language «Wikipedia», it started working in beta version in June 2023, and in full mode — January 15, 2024. The creators of the project declare that all data from «Ruvika» are stored on domestic servers, the project is managed by a Russian legal entity, and the materials of the online encyclopedia comply with the legislation of the Russian Federation. All materials written by the authors are checked for compliance with reality and the rules of the site.
