March 21, an astronaut from Russia, a space flight participant from Belarus and a NASA astronaut will fly to the ISS on it
The final stage of pre-flight preparation of the manned transport spacecraft Soyuz MS-25 continues in the installation and testing building of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Today, February 27, a control illumination of the solar panels of the ship's on-board power supply system was carried out, as reported by the Roscosmos press service.
When testing the operation of solar panels on the ground, specialists from RKK «Energia» performed the standard deployment of photocell sections and irradiated them with powerful lamps. This is necessary to control the efficiency of converting light energy into electrical energy. In addition, the antenna-feeder devices of the ship's onboard radio systems were checked at the workplace.
Launch of the launch vehicle «Soyuz-2.1a» with a manned spacecraft «Soyuz MS-25» to the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled for March 21, 2024. The main crew of Expedition 21 included Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, space flight participant from the Republic of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson.
