The Russian Railways Passengers web application for all mobile devices is available for download – purchasing tickets, and more

Online purchase of tickets for commuter trains will be possible in the near future

«Russian Railways» released a new product – web application «Russian Railways Passengers». As noted in the press service of Russian Railways, this is a PWA version (Progressive Web Application) of the company’s website (ticket.rzd.ru), adapted for use on mobile devices on any operating systems.

The web application retains all the main functions of the site:

• Sale of tickets for long-distance trains, including seats for passengers with disabilities
• View the schedule of long-distance trains and electric trains
• Using loyalty program points «RZD Bonus» etc.

Online purchase of tickets for commuter trains will be possible in the near future. Other functions will also appear gradually. 

It was previously reported that Russian Railways want to create a web application for the OS «Aurora».
