A month ago, the new Prius was named the best car in Japan
An interesting story happened with the new generation Toyota Prius: a month ago this car was named the best in Japan, and now the new Prius has been awarded the title of car of 2024 in the USA. Such coincidences, of course, happen, but quite rarely.
In the USA, the 2024 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) award was received not only by the regular Prius, but also by its rechargeable version Prius Prime.
The Truck of the Year 2024 (trucks are traditionally called pickups in the US) is the Ford Super Duty – it was rated for its towing capabilities, payload, power and choice of four engines.
The winners included an electric car: the 2024 crossover in the USA was the Kia EV9.
