Three new products expected before 2026
AvtoVAZ will release three new Lada models by 2026, while the order of release of the models was confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, who heads the board of directors of AvtoVAZ.
«In the next three years, production of three models will be launched: Lada Aura in 2024, Lada Iskra in 2025 and a new crossover on the Vesta platform in 2026», — Manturov stated.
AvtoVAZ has already assembled about ten Lada Aura prototypes, as reported by «Russian Cars» with reference to its own insider. The equipment for making parts was brought from China, the model has already been put through the assembly line.
Previously, Denis Manturov said that AvtoVAZ plans to increase car production compared to 2023 and produce at least half a million cars.
An image of the new AvtoVAZ model, called Lada Iskra, was published the week before last by the insider public Avtograd News on the social network «VKontakte».
It also became known that by the end of the week AvtoVAZ will produce 10,000 Lada X-Cross 5.
