At the Tokyo Motor Show early next year, they will present probably the most off-road version of the Nissan X-Trail: the X-Trail Crawler, judging by the name, was created specifically for off-roading — areas with large stones.
A titanic work was done on the car: the body was additionally raised above the ground by 130 mm (this is in addition to the standard 200 mm), large wheel arch extensions were installed so that they could accommodate off-road tires.
For ease of pulling the X-Trail Crawler, the towing eyes (two each on the right and left) were brought straight out. But it’s strange that they forgot about the winch. The SUV (this X-Trail can hardly be called a crossover) received additional lighting, modified bumpers and an expeditionary trunk.
The power plant, apparently, remains the same, as does all-wheel drive (in the e4ORCE system, an electric motor is installed on the rear axle). It is extremely doubtful that the X-Trail Crawler will go into production, but such a machine can be used in various competitions to overcome rocky off-road terrain.
