Prices are much lower than in Russia
The new generation Toyota Camry (XV80) has gone on sale in Kazakhstan, and the prices there are quite affordable: the basic version with a 2.0-liter engine is available on request for 14.3 million tenge — this is approximately 2.95 million rubles.
Some sellers have cars in stock, but they are more expensive: from 17.3 to 18.9 million tenge (3.57—3.9 million rubles). As the Kolesa.kz resource notes, these are mainly cars with a 2.0-liter 173-horsepower gasoline engine in rich trim levels, but there are also hybrids (also based on a 2.0-liter engine, but with higher power &mdash ; 197 hp). Moreover, hybrids can cost as much as simple gasoline cars. Interestingly, the price of Toyota Camry XV80 hybrids is at the level of the Toyota Camry XV70 (that is, the previous generation) with a 2.5-liter engine.
