Sony has confirmed the date for the presentation of the new flagship smartphone Xperia, which will take place on May 15.

The company is expected to introduce the flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 VI. There is also a possibility that the Xperia 5 VI and Xperia 10 VI will be shown at the event.
Rumors indicate that the Xperia 1 VI may feature a 2K display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and Bravia HDR technology. The panel is also said to support 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone may be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 coupled with a 5000 mAh battery. The main camera will be equipped with a 24mm lens and an Exmor T multi-layer CMOS image sensor. In addition, insiders talked about a telephoto lens with a focal length of 85-170mm with a 7x zoom capability.
