Fastback body with a very unusual rear pillar
At the end of the month, Kia will officially present the new Kia K4 sedan (aka Forte, aka Cerato), but for now the company decided to intrigue a little: a couple of published teasers show a car in a fastback body with a very original rear design racks.
Kia designers, using a glossy black trim that imitates glass, disguised the pillar so (at least in teasers) that it seems as if it is not there at all.
The car will also have an unusual panoramic roof that stretches from the windshield to about half of the back row. And the front optics, judging by the teasers, will be made in the spirit of the older model Kia K5.
The official premiere of the Kia K5 will take place in the United States on March 27 at the New York Auto Show. In technical terms, the Kia K5 will be unified with the restyled Hyundai Elantra sedan, which was released last year. The cost of the car in the USA will be around 20 thousand dollars.
