HotCars analyzed the high-performance SUVs on the market today. Model selection was based on luxury SUVs with a minimum JD Power reliability score of 80 and at least 500 horsepower.
Topping the list is the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat with 710 hp. under the hood and an impressive reliability rating of 81 points. Thanks to the 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine, this SUV accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
In second place is the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Equipped with a 707-horsepower turbo V8 engine, it accelerates to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and has a JD Power rating of 84.
The top three is closed by the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V with a 6.2-liter turbo V8 engine. Its 682 hp. provide acceleration to 97 km/h in 4.5 seconds, and reliability is assessed by experts at 83 points.
In fourth place is the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid with 670 hp. Equipped with a hybrid powertrain and a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, this German crossover accelerates to 96 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid has a reliability rating of 81 on the JD Power scale.
