Data storage enthusiasts will be interested in Seagate's offering. The manufacturer broke the competitors' record and introduced a capacious hard drive that uses the latest solutions to improve performance.
Many modern games require the use of SSDs as developers need the speed of the devices, but large HDDs are still important.
Seagate challenges Western Digitals Gold 24TB and prepared its own proposal, with which it set the record for the most capacious HDD on the market – Seagate Exos X Mozaic 3+ has a capacity of 30 TB. It contains ten platters of 3 TB each.
Seagate has also used solutions to improve the performance of the drive – it is expected to be three times more efficient than previous generation devices.
Final details are still unknown. TechRadar believes that the Seagate Exos X Mozaic 3+ could cost $450.
