The Moscow Department of Transport announced the start of open testing of fare payment through the Fast Payment System at all turnstiles of the Moscow Metro and MCC.
To activate the service, you need to go to the SBP subscription section in the Moscow Metro mobile application, select the priority bank in which the account is opened, and confirm the subscription in its application. Registration is free, and the SBP subscription itself — unlimited.
To pay for travel, just open the «Moscow Metro» application. on your smartphone, press the button to receive a QR code and bring it to the reader on the turnstile. The fare for such payment — 61 rubles. You can pay for travel using an SBP subscription at all turnstiles of the Moscow metro and MCC.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maxim Liksutov said:
Moscow — one of the world leaders in the number of payment methods for public transport. We not only launch innovative payment services, but also improve existing ones. Now the Fast Payment System is available in open test mode at all metro and MCC turnstiles. Passengers can once again return to the familiar and convenient way of paying for travel using any smartphone. It is important that SBP — Russian technology, which belongs to the Bank of Russia, which means it is absolutely safe and it is impossible to influence its operation from abroad.
