A total of 100 of these machines will be produced
Lynx Motors has announced the DMC-EV electric car, which will be the modern incarnation of the legendary DeLorean DMC-12. The company has so far published three official renderings and just a few technical details.
The Lynx DMC-EV will be in many ways similar in appearance to the DeLorean DMC-12, but, of course, the body is completely new, and it will be made according to new principles (and taking into account modern safety requirements). The interior is promised «LED instrument panel and touch interfaces», that is, everything will also be modern.
The power plant looks interesting (at least on paper): engineers plan to use four Elaphe L1600 in-wheel motors, which will allow for controlled thrust vectoring. Power is unknown, but one Elaphe L1500 produces 155 hp. That is, the total power will be no less than 600 hp. The car will accelerate to 96 km/h in 4 seconds, the maximum power reserve will be 400 km.
Lynx Motors plans to assemble 100 units of the Lynx DMC-EV, prices have not yet been announced.
