Decreased demand on the market forces sellers to reduce prices for “parallel” machines
As reported by Auto News of the Day, which closely monitors the Russian car market, the cost of the large Volkswagen Talagon crossover has decreased significantly: if a little less than a year ago, in April 2023, the most affordable Talagon in Russia was estimated at 6.7 million rubles, now the price has dropped to 5.15 million rubles. A seller from Blagoveshchensk is ready to deliver the car for this money, and the price is indicated with all fees and charges.
For 5.15 million rubles, the Talagon is offered in a rich Luxury Jiajing Edition Pro package, which includes a six-seater cabin, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, electrically adjustable seats, heated and ventilated, adaptive cruise control, «warm» options and a set of various driver assistance systems.
Volkswagen Talagon is equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine producing 220 hp, a 7-speed «robot» and all-wheel drive system. This is the largest crossover of the German company: with a length of 5152 mm, it surpasses even the Teramont. Although the Talagon is far from the Viloran minivan, also offered in Russia: this is the manufacturer’s largest car on the MQB platform (Talagon and Teramont are also built on it).
Previously in Russia the Volkswagen Passat (also from China and also with a 2-year warranty) fell in price, and the 7-seater crossover Volkswagen Tayron, on the contrary, went up a little in price . And dealers now have the Volkswagen Teramont with a two-year warranty.
