«Club service» released a video, the content of which will be useful to all those who are thinking about buying a «parallel» Toyota Camry – from China. The video clearly shows the Chinese Toyota Camry Q (this is how a car in the back of the XV70 is designated in the Middle Kingdom) and lists the differences from the Russian one – the one that was assembled at the Russian Toyota plant near St. Petersburg until 2022.
So what is the difference between the Chinese Camry and the Russian one? In fact, there are many differences. For example, the Chinese one has 1 cm less ground clearance than the Russian one. If the Russian Camry with a 2.5 liter engine had only one exhaust pipe at the rear (on the right), then the Chinese Camry had two (right and left)

The Chinese version has curtains on the side windows (mechanical) and on the rear window (automatic). At the rear there is a climate and seat control unit. But as for the gearbox and engine, there are no differences: they were supplied from Japan to both Russia and China.
