About 30,000 cars sold in Turkey
The Turkish Togg car will enter the European market, starting with Germany, where the new product will go on sale in 2025, as announced on air by Turkey's Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Kacir.
«We are now witnessing the birth of a new brand, which is the engine of transformation of the entire industry. Togg will go on sale in Germany at the beginning of 2025 and thus enter the European market, the minister said.
He added that about 30 thousand Togg have already taken to the roads of Turkey. Developers are working to improve the software; facial recognition technology has recently been added. In addition, they plan to improve the car in the field of autonomous driving and artificial intelligence.
For now, only the Togg T10X electric crossover is available to customers. In January, Turkey introduced the second Togg model, the T10F, which will go on sale in Turkey in 2025.
Turkey has announced plans to produce about a million electric vehicles within seven years.
