The Fallout franchise has a long history. The game's popularity skyrocketed thanks to the Amazon series

Fallout 76 had a rough launch, but after a series of updates and patches, Bethesda managed to change the game for the better, which led to a growing audience. After the premiere of the Fallout series, interest in the game increased even more – recently the total number of players exceeded 20 million; Users also learned about other games in the franchise and went to get acquainted.

In less than two months since the premiere of the Amazon series, the number of daily active users in games in the Fallout franchise has grown by more than 600. % and exceeded 5 million players.

Todd Howard commented:

“Depending on the [specific] Fallout game, the daily player count could increase 4-6 times, which is more than anything I've ever seen in 30 years in the industry.

An event that attracts so many people to the games that you have and who have never played your games before is very important. New players who have never played a video game or have never played our games. This is a very, very unique moment.”

There are some plans for new games in the Fallout franchise, but nothing concrete has been announced yet:

“[developing] the game takes over five years. We have plans for future games in this series, and there is no time to talk about it now, but we are always planning.”
