And this is amazing
Another comparison of the Exynos 2400 as part of the Galaxy S24+ and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as part of the S24 Ultra has appeared on the Internet. Once again we see evidence that Samsung has apparently finally got a good flagship platform.
The authors of the NL Tech channel made two separate videos for two smartphones, but tested them in the same games, so we can compare the results.
Both smartphones cope with Genshin Impact differently, and the version with Exynos 2400 is the leader here. You can almost always see 60 fps, while the S24 Ultra on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 constantly suffered from drops below 50 fps, and sometimes significantly lower.
In War Thunder Mobile with active ray tracing the situation is the same: Exynos 2400 performs better. The S24 Ultra starts at around 70 fps and then quickly drops to 40-45 fps, while the S24+ starts at a maximum of 120 fps, dropping to 80 fps.
In PUBG Mobile, smartphones perform the same, delivering 90 fps. The same thing happens in Fortnite. In Call of Duty: Mobile, the older model is formally twice as good, as it shows 120 fps versus 60 fps for the younger one, but in both cases this is a limitation of the game. Apparently, Exynos 2400 simply does not yet have optimization for this project.
