According to the editor-in-chief of «Behind the wheel» Maxim Kadakov, the newest Lada Iskra has changed a lot over the past couple of years, while AvtoVAZ was importing its filling.
And here comes the Lada Iskra. So far only a sedan, although there is also a station wagon and a Cross. Beautiful car. Outwardly, it has not changed in the two years that AvtoVAZ has been engaged in import substitution. But the internal, invisible filling has changed quite a lot – from some internal body panels to the electronics that Itelma makes. This Spark is with a 1.6 90 hp engine. and with a 5-speed VAZ gearbox. There will also be a 106 hp version. – both with a CVT and with a 6-speed manual. And there will be some surprises… But more on that later.

He also clarified for the first time that production will begin not just in 2025, but right from the very beginning of next year, in January. Sales of the Lada Iskra should start next spring.
No prices, of course. But it is clear that Iskra will support Vesta. As Maxim Sokolov said, at today’s prices, Iskra could cost from 1 million to 1.2 million rubles. I think that in 2025 a basic car will cost closer to 1,150,000 rubles. And the maximum one will cost 1.5 million rubles.
