The choice is expanding. At least five Chinese sedans in Russia are already offered at prices below 2 million rubles – what kind of cars are these?

Back in October 2023, most of the models in the rating were more expensive than 2 million rubles

A fresh rating of the most affordable Chinese sedans in Russia has been compiled — price up to 2 million rubles. And it contains five models, although back in October last year most of them were more expensive than 2 million rubles.

Changan Alsvin tops the list: 1.65 million rubles for the basic version, taking into account a discount of 100 thousand rubles. The car has a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 98 hp. and 5-speed robotic gearbox.

Geely Emgrand now costs 1.85 million rubles, taking into account a direct discount of 160 thousand rubles, although at the start of sales last fall the car cost exactly 2 million rubles, and discounts were only for credit and trade- in. The base Emgrand has a 1.5-liter engine with 122 hp. and 5-speed manual transmission.

The BAIC U5 Plus produced in 2023 is slightly more expensive: the car, taking into account the direct discount, now costs 1.895 million rubles. The basic version has a 1.5-liter engine with 112 hp. and 5-speed manual transmission.

The Omoda S5 sedan is for the first time in the ranking of sedans priced up to 2 million rubles. And all because they give a generous discount of 300 thousand rubles for a car produced in 2023. Taking this into account, the price of a car equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with 113 hp. and a variator, is 1.95 million rubles.

Kaiyi E5 also would not have been included in the rating if it were not for a significant discount of 240 thousand rubles: taking into account the discount, the price of a 2023 sedan in the basic Standard configuration is reduced to 1.955 million rubles. Kaiyi E5 — the most powerful car in the rating: under the hood there is a 147-horsepower engine, paired with a CVT.
