Tests of the Progress MS-26 cargo ship have been completed at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. for tightness. The tests were carried out in the vacuum chamber of the installation and testing building of the 254th site of the cosmodrome. Roscosmos specialists performed pneumatic vacuum tests of the ship, it is noted that automated control of the tightness of compartments and onboard systems of the Progress MS-26 in ground conditions passed without any comments.

The ship was then returned to the work site and connected to the ground testing equipment. Its preparations for launch to the International Space Station (ISS) continue. Launch of the launch vehicle «Soyuz-2.1a» with the ship «Progress MS-26» scheduled for February 15, 2024.
