One of them can be used instead of a keyboard, although it also has a removable one. The laptop costs from $1500
Asus, as expected, presented the Zenbook Duo (UX8406) laptop with two OLED displays at CES 2024. The device received two 14-inch touch screens with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz (they can also be used as one large 19.8-inch display). The laptop also has a regular keyboard: it is removable, connects via Bluetooth, and can be placed either on top of one of the displays or just next to the laptop.
The new Asus Zenbook Duo can be used in several modes: as a regular laptop with a keyboard, as a laptop with touch input (there is stylus support), as a computer with a large display and a separate keyboard (when unfolded), and also split the screen into two separate & mdash; in vertical or horizontal orientations. At the same time, the hinge allows you to open the laptop only 180 degrees, and not the full 360.
The laptop runs on Intel Meteor Lake processors with a 16-core 2.3 GHz Intel Core Ultra 9 185H in the maximum configuration and runs Windows 11. The amount of RAM can reach 32 GB, and the SSD drive — 2 TB. Among the available ports — two Thunderbolt 4, full-size HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2. The weight of Asus Zenbook Duo (2024) is 1.65 kg (1.35 kg without keyboard), battery capacity — 75 W·h, the manufacturer promises up to 13.5 hours of autonomous video playback when using one screen and up to 10.5 hours when using two at once.
The release of the new product is scheduled for the beginning of this year. Asus Zenbook Duo (2024) will be sold at a price that is quite reasonable given these parameters, starting from $1500 (for the US market).
