Portal is based on Android
The PlayStation Portal portable console, as you know, only works in pairing mode with the PS5 and cannot run any games on its own. It turned out that it can be hacked and taught to do it.
The famous enthusiast Andy Nguyen under the pseudonym theflow0, together with his friends, managed to hack PS Portal and install the PPSSPP emulator on it, which allows you to run games from the PlayStation Portable console. By the way, Portal is based on Android.
The emulator is not ready yet, so it will not be released into the public domain for now. But the fact of hacking itself takes place.
Let us remember that the Sony set-top box is based on the Snapdragon SG4150P platform, which does not belong to the consumer line, and its parameters are not even really known yet. But the performance there is definitely not great, so you definitely shouldn’t expect Portal to turn into some kind of universal gaming device. However, this does not negate the irony of the situation, which is that everyone expected Portal to be the successor to the PSP. Sony didn't make it one, but now enthusiasts have actually turned Portal into a PSP.
