In a little less than two years (since May 2022), AvtoVAZ managed to import about 1,200 components and materials. The press service of AvtoVAZ told the Parliamentary Newspaper about this.
In recent months, the localization level of Lada has noticeably increased: according to the principles of calculating the degree of localization adopted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Lada cars are localized on average by 5100 points with a maximum of 7000 points. At the same time, back in September last year, the level of localization of Lada Granta was estimated at 3741 points.
«Work continues, and we periodically report on newly returned options. A host of options have returned for 2023, from ABS to the infotainment system. LADA cars were again transferred to the Euro-5 environmental standard. And in 2024, the exchange rate stability system will be returned », — added in the AvtoVAZ press service.
