The new Xiaomi Mijia fan has hit the shelves in China after a successful crowdfunding campaign on the Youpin platform. The fan price is $46.
It can be tabletop or floor standing, the fan is equipped with a powerful DC motor with a frequency converter, creating a wind volume of 1500 cubic meters per hour. The air flow can be felt even from 13 m. Xiaomi claims that the fan can provide «circulation throughout the entire house in just 2 minutes», effectively eliminating stale air.
It can rotate horizontally 120 degrees in automatic mode. Through the application you can choose one of 100 operating speeds. At the lowest speed the noise level is 27.2 dB. The motor consumes only 1.92 W, which makes the fan as budget-friendly as possible.
The fan easily integrates with the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem. The remote control and timer functionality can be controlled via the Mijia APP. In addition, it supports Xiaoai Assistant voice control.
It can automatically turn on or off based on temperature sensor readings or regulate its operation depending on the cooling mode of the connected air conditioner.
