Netflix's The Witcher hasn't received the most positive reactions. Those familiar with the franchise left a lot of negative reviews
Writer Andrzej Sapkowski spoke about his interaction with Netflix. She created (and is still creating) a series based on The Witcher.
Netflix's writing and artistic decisions have repeatedly caused negative reactions from the community. Viewers expressed the opinion that it was different in the books, and that the authors were doing it wrong.
Andrzej Sapkowski recalls that he tried to give advice, but they did not listen to the words of the creator:
“…maybe I gave [Netflix] some ideas, but they never listened to me. They never listened to me, but that’s normal: “Who is this? This is a writer, he’s a nobody.”
