Samsung – that's it: there will be no more cars under this brand

In Korea, Samsung cars were renamed Renault

In South Korea, Renault cars have been sold under the Samsung brand for quite a long time, but now this practice is coming to an end: back in 2022, Renault Korea Motors refused to renew the license for the Samsung car brand, and now cars sold under this brand, renamed Renault: Samsung XM3 became Renault Arkana, Samsung QM6 (Renault Koleos) became Renault QM6.

There is one model left in the line that still needs to be rebranded: the Korean Renault Talisman is still called Samsung SM6, but it will soon be updated and renamed. With this we can finally say goodbye to Samsung cars.
