Right on the first day of March

Samsung has released the second update for its flagship Galaxy S24 line. But if the first was large-scale and brought many improvements to the system (along with bug fixes and shortcomings), the second concerns exclusively security: the update contains the March Android security updates.

The second update has already been released in Europe and Canada, software numbers, respectively, S92*BXXS1AXBG and S92*WVLS1AXBG. The size of the update depends on the specific model. For example, in the case of the European Galaxy S24 Plus — 285 MB, and in the case of the Galaxy S24 Ultra — 428 MB.

Interestingly, neither Samsung nor Google have yet revealed what exactly is contained in the March Android security update. But usually such updates patch several dozen previously identified holes and gaps in the software.
