Canalys analysts summed up the results of the first quarter in the smartphone market. Samsung has regained its leadership, seriously breaking away from Apple. 

In total, 296.2 million smartphones were sold during the quarter, which is 10% more than a year earlier. Samsung is a confident leader, having sold 60 million devices and occupying 20% ​​of the market. Sales fell just 1% for the year. But Apple's sales fell by 16%, which is the worst figure among the leaders. The company sold 48.7 million smartphones and took 16% of the market. 

This is followed by Xiaomi, Transsion and Oppo. Transsion, which owns the Tecno and Infinix brands, has grown the most. It is still far from Xiaomi, but its growth rates are still impressive.
