Trilogy includes Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Trilogy: Legends of the Zone» was announced during the Xbox Partner Preview event, with the surprise of it being available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as PS4 and PS5.
The Legends of the Zone Bundle, available on the Microsoft Store for $40, includes all three games that made up the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. Trilogy: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat — or you can purchase each game separately for $20.
Microsoft stated: «Every element of the original games has been preserved and faithfully ported to consoles thanks to the hard work of GSC Game World and their partners at Mataboo. All this opens up a great opportunity for Xbox gamers to gain basic knowledge about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. ahead of the launch of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which will be released on Game Pass on September 5, 2024».
The version available for consoles will be close to the original version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on PC. Xbox One players will finally be able to jump into the franchise, and new console owners will be able to enjoy the game thanks to backwards compatibility.
Later this year, GSC Game World will release a patch for new consoles that will bring &additional graphical improvements and other features». Console versions will also have mod support via mod.io, but this feature will also be implemented later.
