According to him, the device will receive the potential of a Samsung processor manufactured using the 8nm process technology, and will most likely receive 12 GB of memory.
Expected , that the Nintendo Switch 2 will resemble the Xbox S Series in its potential, but will offer gameplay at a lower frame rate. The best equivalent platform is considered to be the PlayStation 4 Pro, at least when the console is in the dock.
“PS4 Pro is a good way to describe performance Switch 2 in the dock. PS4 Pro would be a more appropriate comparison, but XSS is no different from the processor due to the limited memory system.”
As the insider notes, the Nintendo Switch 2 will last longer on a single charge than the Steam Deck, but at the same time it does not have the same high performance. Games on the new device will run at slightly lower frame rates, but this will allow Nintendo to offer longer gameplay.
