Previously it was believed that creating an account would only be required for online mode, but apparently this is not entirely true
Sony Interactive Entertainment is removing Ghost of Tsushima from sale in regions where it is not possible to officially register a PlayStation Network account. The information came from the Green Man Gaming trading platform and has not yet been officially confirmed.
Some Reddit users have noted that this is an issue solely with Green Man Gaming and that they are free to purchase the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima even though they are in regions not supported by Sony.
Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut will be released on PC on May 16.
