Classic video games are celebrated in the Hall of Fame. Ordinary players take part in the selection of worthy projects
The World Video Game Hall of Fame at The Strong National Museum of Play has unveiled a selection of classic games that are candidates for inclusion in the prestigious collection. They invite everyone to vote for the project they like.
The Strong game museum’s selection included 12 games, including such franchises as Myst, Guitar Hero, Resident Evil and SimCity:
- Asteroids
- Elite
- Guitar Hero
- Metroid
- Myst
- Neopets
- Resident Evil
- SimCity
- Tokimeki Memorial
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
- Ultima
- You Don't Know Jack
Based on the voting results, they are going to select three games that received the most votes + a few more will be added to them projects by decision of the commission. The final decision is expected to be announced on May 9.
