The car will be released in 2025
New images of exterior parts of the Lada Iskra car have appeared in the database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).
This time we were shown the rear bumper, on which we can see places for installing four parking sensors. The exhaust pipe will not be cut into the bumper, but will be located under it.
This morning we already showed what the front bumper for the standard Lada Iskra will look like (the image for the Cross version was already designed earlier), as well as the upholstery of the luggage compartment of the car.
A month ago, the Motor.ru resource revealed the engine range of the future Lada Iskra, saying that the car will be unified with the Lada Vesta. The base will be a 16-valve 1.6-liter engine, which will be combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. The top-end Iskra will have a 122-horsepower 1.8 EVO engine and a WanLiYang CVT18 CVT introduced at the end of 2023.
The Lada Iskra should be presented this year, and production will begin only in 2025. At first the model will be sold together with Granta, and then it will replace it.
