At least temporarily
The Radeon RX 7600 XT video card should be announced on January 6 at CES 2024 and will serve as a partial response to the launch of GeForce RTX 40 Super adapters. It turned out that the RX 7600 XT may not be released in China. At least for the first time.
AMD has reportedly at least temporarily delayed the launch of its new product in China. But not at all because of its enormous power and fears of sanctions. It's all about other AMD video cards. Earlier, RX 6750 GRE adapters with 10 and 12 GB were released on the Chinese market at prices of $270 and $290, respectively. The RX 7600 XT 16GB is expected to cost around $300, putting it in direct competition with the cards above.
At the same time, the parameters of the RX 7600 XT are unknown, but there is a high probability that this is the same RX 7600, only with double the memory capacity and, possibly, increased frequencies. At the same time, the regular RX 7600 is slightly inferior even to the RX 6750 GRE 10GB, not to mention the older version with a large number of stream processors. Against this background, it is not surprising that the RX 7600 XT will seem like a less profitable proposition.
However, it is worth remembering about 16 GB of memory. The same Nvidia offers an RTX 4060 Ti with this capacity for $500.
