Yesterday it was reported about a possible price reduction for a smaller version of the PlayStation 5 Slim with a drive. And we didn’t have to wait long for confirmation – the price reduction by 75 euros became a reality.
PS5 Slim is a new lightweight version of the Sony console, replacing the current PS5 Chassic. Many are outraged that the console version costs $549.99/€. This is because, traditionally, Sony usually reduces the price when releasing the next version. This did not happen with the three year old PS5. But the leaks about price reductions in a single country turned out to be true.
French retailer Cdiscount announced that participants in the Cdiscount à Volonté (CDAV) program will receive not only a discount of 75 euros, but and can take advantage of the prize fund in the amount of 47.49, which will be paid 14 days after placing the order. But players are more interested in whether the offer will extend to other European countries.
Twitter user “billbil-kun” believes that other European countries will receive similar offers in a few days.
