At the end of the year, several important events will take place in the Russian automotive market: the production of domestic ESP systems will begin and the work of the Kaluga enterprise «PSMA Rus», which previously assembled Peugeot 408, Citroen C4, Peugeot Partner, Citroen Berlingo, Opel Combo, Mitsubishi Outlander and Pajero Sport.

The fact that serial production of the domestic electronic stabilization system will start on December 19 was reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta. with reference to the manufacturer – company «ITELMA». ESP will be produced at the same plant in Kostroma, where they launched production of ABS systems in the summer. The first model with Russian ESP will be the Lada Vesta with a 1.8 Evo engine and a CVT.

As for the enterprise «PSMA Rus», the date of restart of production at it was announced by the governor of the Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha. «We met with the management of the PSMA company. They also went through a difficult path in re-equipping, in re-configuring their company, and on the 18th, this coming Monday, the plant will start operating», – he said.
