Photorealistic locations have become closer. Getting to know the graphics in games using Unreal Engine 5.4

Developers and graphic designers are already creating 3D models and textures for the next generation of games that will be playable in a few years. It's worth taking a look at what games running on Unreal Engine 5.4 will look like.

The Scans Factory team prepares 3D models of various environments for Unreal Engine developers and sells such nice sets for $130-150. Below you can see several presentations with the results of Scans Factory's work over the past few months.

Of course, a technical demonstration is one thing, but translating it into gameplay creates additional load on the CPU and GPU is completely different. Players will still have to wait for a game with similar visual splendor (perhaps until the next console), but the path has already been charted. Lumen's global illumination system and Nanite's object modeling show enormous potential. All you need is computing power to pull off such graphic splendor.
