Players were unpleasantly surprised by the ability of the head of Microsoft Gaming to say a lot and absolutely nothing at the same time
During the Brazilian CCXP event, Microsoft Gaming head Phil Spencer was asked to comment on the sharp price increase for the Xbox Series S in the country, after which the weak version of the current generation Xbox console was equal in price to the PlayStation 5 Digital.
“We've been in this market for 17 years, have local console production, and really listen to players. We don't always do what fans like, but we love how passionate Brazilian gamers are about supporting Xbox. Sometimes this passion results in such [negative] reviews. I've always said you can't have one without the other. When we look at trends in our business, the Xbox community in Brazil is one of the most important to us. That's why I think it's important for us to show local players that we're listening to them. That we respect and value them.”
Commentators appreciated the oratorical talents of the manager of the Microsoft gaming division.
